Wiles Mensch Corporation – DC (WM) provided surveying, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services for the new Broadcast apartment building in Washington, DC. The 114,000 SF project involved the conversion of two separate office buildings into one residential structure. Broadcast houses 146-residential units, with 15 units designated as affordable housing. The development also features 11,000 SF of street-level retail and three below-grade garage levels.
The WM survey team provided boundary, topographic, and utility surveys as a basis for the design team. Civil scope of services included EISF coordination, stormwater management, and traffic control plans. Landscape services provided by WM include the design of a green roof and 2,000 SF roof terrace. The development was designed to meet LEED Silver certification.
