Wiles Mensch Corporation – DC (WM) provided survey services for the redevelopment of the Community of Hope Family Health and Birth Center located in Ward 5. The above image shows the existing center on the left, with a rendering of the planned facility on the right. Community of Hope’s expanded new center will provide services including family planning, prenatal care, pediatrics, mental health support, and Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) services.

Working within a tight program-to-footprint ratio, the space accommodates a fully equipped birth center, a multidisciplinary clinic, behavior health services, retail pharmacy, lab services, a large multipurpose space, and an entire third floor workspace for staff and providers. The center focuses on providing adequate care for black women and other marginalized groups.

WM was responsible for completing a boundary, topographic, and utility survey and an ALTA/NSPS survey for the property simultaneously.

The facility is slated to open in 2022.
