Wiles Mensch Corporation – DC (WM) provided surveying, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services for the development of the DC Water Sewer Services Facility at Ames Place. The facility is a two-story, 12,000 SF building with a green roof containing offices, an enclosed vacuum truck space, covered material bins, and parking for personnel and DC Water maintenance trucks and equipment.

WM provided surveys for the four-acre site including boundary, topographic, utility, subdivision, survey to mark, and ALTA services. Civil engineering services included provision of due diligence reports and preliminary site designs for the two-phase project. Landscape architecture features include Green Area Ratio (GAR) calculations for the facility’s green roof, as well as coordination with DOEE.

The building is expected to achieve LEED Silver certification.
