Wiles Mensch Corporation-DC (WM) provided extensive surveying and streetlight design services for the Blue Plains Drive – Shepherd Parkway Streetlight upgrade project for the District Department of Transportation.
The project required survey of all streetlights along the 1.6 mile site. WM performed a topographical survey and prepared all geometric and physical feature information for use in base map preparation.
WM coordinated and reviewed all necessary utility plans for the project site from the necessary agencies including electrical data from PEPCO plats, WASA, Washington Gas, and GSA, to prepare a base plan for the lighting analysis. The plan documents all underground utilities, building perimeters, and roadside features to provide a clear understanding of the surrounding topography.
