Wiles Mensch Corporation – DC (WM) provided surveying and civil engineering services for the renovation and redevelopment of a facilities management and security building on the campus of Prince George’s Community College (PGCC). The project involved the addition of approximately 15,000 SF of space, and the renovation of approximately 7,000 SF of space to better serve the needs of the university.
WM’s role on the design team included providing land surveying and civil engineering services. The team was responsible for completing a topographic and utility survey of the site. WM provided civil engineering services through multiple phases of design and construction, including preliminary and schematic designs. Civil scope of services included LEED design, EISF coordination, site design, and related construction administration services. WM was also responsible for processing Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) Permits and Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) plans.
All services were completed to meet LEED Gold standards at minimum.
