Wiles Mensch Corporation-DC (WM) provided surveying and landscape architecture services for new recreational facilities at St. Albans School. The project includes a track, tennis courts, swimming pool, and a regulation competition/practice field for football, soccer, and lacrosse athletics. The project also includes extensive landscape enhancements throughout the sprawling campus. To address the topography of the site, the athletic venues were separated into three distinct levels.
WM provided field surveys and as-builts for the site. Landscape scope of work for the project included the design of a large entry plaza, stone retaining walls, outdoor state-of-the-art tennis facilities, multi-use athletic fields, and stadium seating. The landscape features were designed to extend the look and feel of the Olmstead Woods into the finished developed site.
